Nissan specs show the 08 frontier 4.0 liter V6 about 10 hp, 10 ftlbs, and 2 mpg down from the 08 pathfinder with the same motor. The pathfinder is rated with better mpg's even though it's 300 lbs. heavier than the frontier. Is this info they publish wrong? If not, how do I get those ratings out of my truck?

..

gsxr1k;

Welcome to the group!

I don't know about the HP ratings but the government rates the miles per gallons.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

You have to ask yourself, why is the stock market surging upward while hundreds

of thousands are still losing jobs? It must be the change!

I was told that the engines are tweaked differently, The truck engine has more low end HP and torque.

I saw the same thing on a Tundra and Sequoia, Titan and the full size SUV from Nissan a while back.
