I have an opportunity to get a supercharger off of a 01-04 Frontier, but I have a 2000.  How drastically did the engine change if at all?  I want to know if the supercharger will fit.

Thanks

To be honest SELL your truck if you visit several other boards do a search people have talked about doing it it is not worth the money /time you would spend you would do better to try and put a V8 in your Frontier not trying to be mean its just a lot of things need to be changed/upgraded its not a bolt on thing.

The ECU and wiring is the main headache.  As well as you have to change some of the intake.  It's 1000 times easier to swap when you already have one on from the factory.

its not that hard to add any kind of forssed induction to a motor you just need all the right stuff there are many aftermarket chargers out there that can and will work for your truck. the hard part is finding what you want, i.e do you want to build a full on race motor or just something to rip up the street or trails. the three basic things you need are fuel, air, and spark. most factory fuel and ignition systems will work for minor boost upgrades, but only minor if you put to much boost you will need to upgrade both, wich means new injectors, fuel pump, plugs wires, coils, and ECU or ECM (what ever you want ot call it they mean the same thing).you can runa piggy back system but they dont work as good and they arent much cheeper than a new computer. just talk to some local race shops and get there advice most will be happy to help you.
