The owner's manual of my 2011 SV Crew Cab makes no mention
of an in cabin air filter, yet I see posts on that subject
here.

Before I drop my glove box and investigate, does the 2011
SV CC have an in cabin air filter ?

Thanks !

It has a place for it regardless, some have filters from
the factory, some don't.

There are two small filters that go side by side.  When you order, you will get two in a box.  Pull the one you see out of the holder and then slide the other one over to remove.  Repeat the process in reverse for installation.  You will be amazed how dirty they get in just a years time.

I have ordered them, I saw that there were two filters in a box.
Still don't know why there was no mention of a cabin air filter in my
2011 owners manual .
I guess the dealership wants that business !

Thanks , boomer !

I received the Purolator cabin air filters from Amazon this afternoon,
reviewed the installation post on this site, and installed the filters,
breaking the lower tabs in the process ( lower tabs are hard plastic, and
hard not to break !)

I zip tied the upper clip to stabilize the cover, and just used electrical
tape to seal the cover itself.

The arrows on the original (somewhat dirty at 25K miles) filters were
definitely pointing UP, I installed the new ones the same way.

Thanks again to the replies and zip tie suggestions !

Actually the arrows should point down(air flow direction),
that is in case you remove them to check and then re-
install in the same direction. How the heck did you manage
to break the lower tabs????
