Hi,
New member, traded 05 Frontier CC 4x4 for an 08 Frontier CC 4x4. Actually, the very same truck, color and all but the 08 has a long bed.

I loved the 05, only got the 08 because of the long bed. The 05 only had 33,000 trouble free miles. Not one problem. If the 08 is as good I'll have to keep it for a long time.

Couple observation: Motor is more efficient, got better gas mileage on two trips to Canada....still only 19-21 where as the 05 got 17 at best. Steering is a little lighter, my be the difference in tires. Front shocks are more compliant but I'll probably replace them with an after market shock (any suggestion?).

Hi all I have an 06 frontier with 70000 on it I'm orignal owner. I've
never had a problem with the truck until last month. It has been jerking
at any speed in no real pattern, it's not throwing any codes into the
computer and the engine light has never came on. I did notice the
other day the tach fell off to 200 rpms then right back up to speed. It
an 06 with V6 auto tranny any help please!!!

I couldn't find your other post but this is the new member forum.. You need to post your problem in the Tech forum... And start your own thread... the 2nd down on the list.

Welcome to the group after i wreck my truck Toyota and was replace by 2003 nissan frontier when i brought truck used it was only 82,000 get this when i took nissan dealer in manchester tenn and check out ven noumber on this truck. here what i found out the motor has been replaced and neverknow whyit was replace at 32,000 back 2004 the truck is 7 years old and motor only 6 years old
