Hi everyone, I just purchased my first Nissan, an 08 Frontier SE.  I look forward to checking out discussions on the forum.  I actually went to the dealership to look at a Taco, but the Nissan was a much better deal.  Had to replace my Camry - 266,000 miles and still running strong, but my wife went deer hunting with it and hairlipped the hood so the insurance company totaled it.  I love the Frontier so far (I've had it 3 days).  2 things I love right off the bat - the suicide back doors and the power that v6 puts out!

Welcome- I too own and owned a few Toyota's. Just a few months ago the frame on my 99 Toyota 4x4 rusted out but the rest of the truck was in mint condition. Toyota bought it back for $12,000. What a deal!! I only paid $10,000 for it 4 1/2 years ago. Found a 06 Nissan Frontier Crew 4x4 SE for less than $1,000 more. Your right the first thing I noticed was the power was much more than the Toyota and the MPG was almost as good. Good Luck with your truck. I'm sure you will like it! Look forward to seeing your posts.
