Hi all My name is david. I am posting here on behalf of my brother and dad. They recently bought a nissan frontier (why im posting here), And there is a big problem. It dog legs, we found out that it needs leaf springs. The main spring broke at the mounting point (on the shackles). So now the entire rear end is shifted 3-5". This i know is not good. Im hoping someone here can help! Where would i be able to find the springs? Its a 2000 or a 2001, extended cab 4 cylinder, two wheel drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and i would like to also point out that we called the dealer on the part and its really freakin' expensive, close to 350 a piece! So does anyone know where i can find these things? Thanks alot in advance
Dave

check ebay, jc whitney tire shops around your area can get them. Napa auto you also might want to check out. I would look at the shackles make sure they are not bent. How long did he drive the truck that way?
