well i am in the market for a nice new (to me) truck. and the funny thing is i am torn.....both are nissan, Titan vs. Frontier.

both seem to be great trucks, and i have looked over on the Titan forum and learned to inspect the rear axle, before purchase. something about poor design and blowing apart. but i have not seen any consistant issues with the frontier. so is that right?is there anything that i should watch out for.

right now i am looking at a 05 CC Nismo 2wd, 72K miles and has been sitting on the dealers lot since May - thinking that they will want to negotiate to get that off the lot. sad thing is, i can find a CC Titan 2006, with 60K miles for about the same price, maybe even a bit cheaper.

I had a 87 hardbody KC for my very first truck, from the age of 16 to 26, i loved that truck.

Ahh the old d21s, I had a 90 from 16-18. I do miss that truck as well.

There is a problem running around with the A/C.

i have a coworker of mine who had a titan.

after riding in my frontier, he was wanting the frontier. i think his gas mileage in the Titan was horrible.

my friend said the same for the mileage on the titan. if i remember rite it was around 14 or 15. could be wrong though
