Welcome. I've had a few turbo charged vehicles in my time and I love the power delivery that a turbo offers. However, the turbo itself will not help your MPG. The only way to help your MPG with a turbo is to keep your foot out of the turbo. However, on the plus side, the additional power is there when you need it.
As far as the air intake, I can't say for sure. But, 2005 was a design change with a different engine. I wouldn't bet on the fact that it would work.
