Just joined today. I own a '05 Frontier XE model with 160K. Been a good dependable truck with minor flaws since purchased new. Also own a '86 4runner with 350K since purchased in '88. Still going strong and '05 Camry with almost 200K. I'll be in the market for a new truck in the next year or two so I'm scoping out the Ford F-150 that claims 23 mph, the Tacoma and Frontier. I should have well over 200K on this little beast of a truck.

Welcome to the org. I haven't run across a vehicle yet
that doesn't have some little problem with it. But it
seems like the late 80s foreign market knew how to build
vehicles. My parents have a 89 toyota pickup with over
300k miles on the original motor.

I agree. Seems the older toyota and nissans were bullet proof in comparison to the trucks today. My faithful 4runner has the 2.4 liter engine that won't quit. Same engine, tranny and a/c still blows cold. The body is in great shape but eventually will restore it with basic cosmetics - paint job, new glass, etc.
