Hi Guys,

Just found the forum and decided to join up.

My current ride is a 05 Nissan Patrol ST-S 4.8 Petrol Auto.

I like the look of the new Navara (aka Frontier) and looking to buy one. But there isn't much after market gear availible in Australia for the D40 yet. So I'm looking to you guys in the US to see what mods are being done to the D40.

Here are some pics of my 2004 D22 Navara I had before buying the Patrol.

It was the D22 Navara STR ZD30 turbo diesel. I was runing 265/75/16 BFG MT they just fit with alittle rubbing every now and again.

Nice rides, we have the same problem with after-market upgrades here in South Africa, very expensive if you can find any thing.

Hi guys

I'm back again. It has been over a year since I was last here. Instead of buying a D40 we brought a R51 Pathfinder 2.5TD.

Here is the Pathfinder with our Camper Trailer.

But the Pathy goes next week as I have now gone with a D40 Navara 2.5TD Auto.

Here is the option list so far.

Options:

Nissan Snorkel.
Nissan Tow Bar.
Nissan Canopy.

TJM T13 Outback bar
Tx3400 UHF
IPF 900XS HID
Piranha Dual Battery System, Monitor, Fridge plug in tray and 50amp Anderson plug.
150L Long Range Fuel Tank
Old Man Emu 50mm Raised Suspension
T-Max 9000lb Winch
Steinbauer P-Box

I cant wait to pick it up.

Here is some photo's of my 2005 Nissan Patrol ST Ute. 4.2 Intercooled Turbo diesel. 2" lift, 35" Cooper STT's, ARB Lockers front and rear, ARB bar and rails, T-max 9500lbs winch, plus more.

This is my baby and now we are getting the Navara to travel around with the camper trailer I will be able to some more wilder mods to the Patrol.

nice ride, interesting slight design differences b/w the Navara and our Frontier, lol wish we could get the TD, lol even better if we could get the 4.2 TD that was in your Patrol
