Ok guys, I figured this would be the best place to post this.  I just bought an 06 Crew Cab, and after being out of my normal truck for a while, I am about to die for Sirius again.  Being this is the newest vehicle I have ever owned, it is kind of intimidating to take out interior panels to run things.  I plan on keeping it clean and simple by placing the antenna on the roof right in front of the cab light in the bed, running the wire through the cargo light, and down the side body panels, etc. like I had on my reg cab F150.  There are no screws in the door sills, so I am assuming to get under the carpet, that they just snap out, is there any easy way to do this, as breaking these is the last thing that I want to do!  Also, any alternate opinions on where and how to run the antenna wire is much appreciated.  I purchased a custom fit Pro-Clip for the Fronty to hold the unit, and it will put it right by the cig lighter(s) so there won't be wires everywhere.

Thanks guys!

I don't have any advice, but I am curious how well the antenna in that location holds up during/after washing?

I did exactly what you are proposing on my 08 Fronty KC with a XM radio.  The sill poped out easily and nothing broke, so it went right back in with no problems.  The gasket around the cargo light was able to maintain a tight seal with the antenna cable and so far......no leaks.  Good Luck.

The sills should just pop out with a little force. If they are anything like my 04, they are harder to break than you think. Be careful about running it through the cargo light. Some shop installed XM on my dad's F250, the cargo light collected enough water to short out and blew a fuse.

Good luck
