If I install new door speakers in replacement of the factory paper ones, do I need to re-wire or can i splice or use the factory wire to connect the new speakers. They run straight to the radio. I just want the polyurethane speakers instead of the paper ones so they dont blow out with my system.

well first off the stock speakers are actually a blended paper, they hold up fairly well, it's the foam surround that tends to give first.

Secondly you can use the factory harness for the new speakers.  In fact that's how most car stereo installers do it.
