I pulled up next to one of my friends at a stoplight. He has a 2002ish Chevy S10, 4cylinder, 5speed.
The light went green, I dumped the clutch at about 3500 and left him at the line. I was a head of him by a truck length. Then I shifted to 3rd late and he gained a little bit (his front bumper was next to my door) but I stayed a head of him until we hit the bridge (which was the finish line). Smoked him!
