Truck will start if i pump the hell out of the gas, once started i cant get it to rev abve 3000 rpms, for what ever reason it has no power. 2002 Nissan frontier 4cyl 5 spd

Could be a few things... you wouldn't have a K&N filter at all would you?

Sounds like either your MAF is dirty (oil from K&Ns will do this) or the control for the distributor is unplugged.

It does sound like a dirty MAF could be the culprit, you should clean it from time to time anyway.  A few other routine things to check include changing the fuel filter and check all ignition wiring.  Maybe even give your sparkplugs a check while you are at it.

I've been running a K&N filter on my last few vehicles, never had any problems with them though.

Do you have a check engine light on by any chance?
