Carefully pound them out with a dead-blow hammer or block of hard wood.

That'll get it close, but I can tell you from working on tons of them it's easier just to buy a new one. No matter what you do you'll still notice the dent as the chrome finish will be distorted. It's either a new one or redip in chrome. If you're not too concerned with looks, just pound her out.
