I am trying to replace my rotors on 2000 frontier v6 4x4. i take the hub cap off, then the snap ring, the 2 washers and then i come to the spindle/lock nut. I dont have the socket tool to take this off!! Its not like others where you can use a punch tool, and it dosent has screws. it has male parts, not female parts. So the socket i need has to be a female socket with 6 holes. Anybody know where i can get this because there isnt a shop anywhere that has this and the nissan dealership doesnt have one either.

I don't know what you are looking at, but once you remove the 2 phillips head screws and then the lock ring, you need a tool that goes into the 2 holes on the nut to remove it. Trust me, the Nissan dealer has it, they just won't loan it out! Give me an email address and remind me that you need a picture of the tool and I'll see if I can send a picture of it. For some reason I can't link it to this site , only works thru email???????
