hey all,

my 2009 cc v6 6-speed makes a grinding noise at cold start for about 2 seconds.. any thougts on a cause and solution?

Timing chain issue? What oil filter are you using? Try a NAPA Gold (Wix) filter. My engine runs quieter on one of these than the Nissan filter.

just had my first service done just last week at the dealer... changed oil, plug,air filter... all oem products... recall? defective? I have about 4500 miles..

Like Boomer says, try another filter -Wix -Purolator One, etc. Air filter at 4500 miles????? Did they use a good quality 5w-30 oil?

If I really listen and pay attention, mine will do it on occasion. Using Nissan oil fillter and Amsoil 5w-30 full synthetic. Not too worried about it.
