NTB07-042 says to replace the secondary timing chains and tensioners. The problem is that the chain wears through the plastic of the tensioner down to the metal plunger on the tensioner, hence the whining noise. I have done 3 or 4 of these, and trust me, they are not for the unexperienced or back yard mechanic. Warranty pays 8.4 hours for this repair and it takes all of that do do it. Customer pay would be 11-12 hours. If you have a dealer you have done business with and/or have all your service receipts, you may be able to get some help with "Goodwill"??? Here is the parts required for the repair. Sorry, unable to copy/paste parts list. PM me an email address and I'll send the list if you are interested.
