Hmm, this is a hard one without having the vehicle in front of me to drive.
This could be the clutch just engaging quicker because of the adjustments made. or it could be something down the driveline. Be it the rear end, or a u-joint. Or possibly something in the transmission itself. Or it's just the synchros having to work more since the clutch isn't fully disengaging. Is the clunk there if you press the pedal all the way down while changing gears?
