I have a new 2011 nissan frontier ccab 2 wd v6 auto trans.  The truck has play in the steering,  It seems to have more play at higher speeds 55 mph and faster.  Anyone have the same problem or any suggestions?

Check your tire pressures, might want to visit your dealer.

Thanks for the reply, I checked all the tires they have 35 psi,  I also bled the front end 3 times.  I had it back to the dealer and the mechanic said that was typical for a frontier,  I am thinking it might have something electrical not working right?

There is nothing "electrical" to do with the steering. Have
you driven another to see if it is the same? Has the dealer
checked the front end alignment?

Thanks for the reply,  I was thinking about having the front end aligned,  Someone told me they thought nissans had speed sensitve steering,  It just seems to have more control at slower speeds.   It is very frustrating to have a problem like this.  Thanks again for the reply.

I know on the '11 Quest they use electric/hydraulic power
steering which is "speed sensitive", not aware of it on the
Frontier.

I had the front end aligned,  It was out a little but it did not help.  I am thinking It could have a faulty rack and pinion.  But it still seems to have more play in the wheel at higher speeds, 45 mph and above?
