i am new to the site so hope this is in the right spot. the vehicle is a 2000 nissan frontier xe 4x4 4 door with a 3.3 motor well heres the story the vehicle died on the way home, pulled the codes and it had a camshaft code and a knock sensor code. i replaced the distributor for the cam sensor, and it would still not stat i cleared the code and just the knock sensor code came up, i replaced the knock sensor, went to start and it still would not start so i stated to think that it jumped time so i pulled the front cover off and sure enough the driver side cam was one tooth off, so i bought a new timing belt put it on and it fired right up. but still had a check engine light, pulled the code and the iac p0505 code came up and it had a rough idle, i pulled the iac valve out cleaned it and now idles smooth and has no codes. i went to test drive and it had no power would just fall on its face and not even move, i am starting to think that is has plugged cats. all wires and vacum lines have been checked/ looked at and are in there correct spots. i am tired of spending the money and chasing parts. is there any one out there that can help me on this one??? i would love the help if any one has any ideas on what else this might be. thanks love the site

on my monitor i was getting a correct read out on the mass air flow sensor, and when i un plug it while its running the vehicle dies instintly like it should, i am leaning toward the cats i pulled the upstream o2 sensors out and started it up and it seemed to have lots of power, but what i dont get is thats not what killed the vehicle in the first place so why all of a sudden would the cats seem to be plugged? just seem like i and chasing and chasing and its always something else. i hve working for nissan for 4 years as tech and this is my own personal vehicle and i cant seem to chase the problem down.

Did you monitor the MAFS in data monitor "SPEC" to see if
it is w/in parameters?
