Hello I have a 2000 crew cab v6 xe, and about a month ago it
started bucking around 1500 to 2500 RPM.
It threw no codes, but I took it into the shop because I knew I had a
bad knock sensor. Once there of course the
code reader said “bad knock sensor” they replaced it and I had them do a tune
up: spark plugs, distributor, distributor cap, and wires. Everything seemed fine until I was on the highway
and it started up and eventual sent a code.
This time it was saying that there was a problem with the crank sensor,
but when I got it in the shop they could not find anything wrong. I am running a K&N and I have cleaned my
MAF, I have also cleaned my valve body. The
rough idle is still there but the bucking is hit and miss I also have noticed
what seems to be a lack in power. Do you have any idea what it could be??
