Hi, new here. Hoping to check out a 2006 V6 auto 4x4 King Cab w/ 51000mi. What should I specifically check for? What are common trouble areas? Is there already a post dealing with this subject? Thanks.

Ok, doing a search here found out about the bad steering. Has this been fixed? Anything else?

NO words of wisdom? What about a 2009? Or what to check for specifically with any models?

What is the steering problem? Rusty rotors, rear diff vent
plugging up, rear axle seals leaking, transfer case seals
leaking, pinion seals leaking, whine noise due to secondary
timing chain shoes worn through. Most of this is covered
under the 5/60 power train warranty if it is still in
effect(not the rotors). Other than that, there a pretty
good truck.
