Hi! I have 05 Frontier crew cab 4.0 V6 Automatic.it as 150k kms on the clock.i didnt had an problems but few days ago gearbox started to shift by it self to higher gear (5th) an it will stay in that gear until I turn off the engine and start again.it will be normal for some time and again it shifts and stays in higher gear.I went to a service and they told me that solenoids went and that I need new gearbox.they ask 4K $ for that (reubuilt).i think that is too much...i would rather find used gearbox and switch it my self.so,does someone know what code is for that gearbox,is it same as in Xtera 4ltr V6?
