Has anyone installed a simple aftermarket auto tranny cooler that drops down behind the grill?

What model, what size, where did you get it?

Thinking it is simpler to add an additional external cooler and completely bypass the internal cooler.
I am not waiting for my tranny to fill up with coolant.

I am trying to locate one that has lips on it that I can anchor the the hood support crossbar (under latch area) by using strips of metal.

Why put it in front of the other cooling cores?

Remember... the tranny needs a little heat in the winter.
