Hi, I'm new to the forum. A month ago i bought a 2005
frontier nismo crew cab. I had it a few weeks when i
started noticing a constant squeak that sounded like it's
coming from the front suspension. The other thing i have
noticed is that when i hit bumps, I kind of get pulled some
to the right, although the alignment is good.I am wondering
if i have a shock issue and maybe they need to be replaced
and if that is possibly the source of the squeak. Thanks in
advance for any help!!

..

Welcome to the group!

I Had a shock sqeek years ago. I never noticed until I tryed to sleep in the back of the truck. It was a rear shock. I jacked the truck up and sprayed some lubebricut on the shiny shaft up under the shock cover. Didn't have any trouble sleeping after that!!!

There is some lattitude in the front end adjustments and it could be OK but fine tuning might fix it. On the other hand the trucks rear end may not be lined up with the front end properly. A weak spring or T-Bar on one side or the other as well as a shock. This can also happen when damaged in the colision.

Good Luck.. Don S..

HEY Lakota, what were you doing in the back of the truck to
make it squeak???????? The hood stops and latch are another
source of a squeak over bumps.
