2001 Nissan Frontier 4 cylinder. Driving 55 M.P.H. I was cut off, applied the brakes, ABS responded properly. But now ABS & Brake light (on dashboard) stay on and the Brake pedal feels differant (soft) Brake Pedal goes further down before brakes are applied. Brakes are working properly. New disc pads in the front (5 months old). Rear Drum are original 70,000 miles.

when the front brakes were done did you do them or a shop?
And if you did them, did you open the bleeder screw to get
 the piston back in?

Check the fluid level first, then check for any DTC's.
