This is weird. Both windshield washer jets on my 2008 Frontier appear to be split or cracked on the top.  Although some fluid still comes out the nozzle, much sprays straight up.  The jets are mounted on short towers in a fasia panel in front of the windshield (same panel that wiper arms poke thru between windshield and end of hood).  Obviously, they have to be replaced. Does anybody know if the jets simply pop off or do I have to remove the panel?  Gotta get this done before winter.  Thanks.

You'll have to remove the panel and squeeze the retaining
clips so you can remove the nozzles.

Should be just be a few screws, and removing the wiper
arms.

Trust me, you are able to just carefully pry them out. Have
done 100's of them.

Thanks for the feedback.   Will wander down to the dealer and pick up some new jets. Cheers.

My local dealer told me the jets are CAN$30+ each!  I think I'll try krazy glue, bubble gum, band-aids or something first before I pay over $70 for a couple of little bits of plastic.  But thanks all for the feedback.

..

I have fixed 100s of things perminately with J.B.Weld. Slow cure is stronger. You can mold it, sand it, and drill it. Wax areas you don't want it to stick to and clean & sand areas for it to stick to. It's heat & gasoline resistant. It can be painted.

It’s saved me tons of money and has got zero cholesterol!!

Have a good one.. Don S..

I just had the driver side nozzle crack on my '08. How hard is it to pry it off and replace? Dont really want to break anything.

Thanks in advance.
