Two days ago I went in the garage to start the truck, and
when I turned the key, the engine didn't respond at all.
However, the headlights turned on (all by themselves) as
did some of the other lights in the truck. We had it towed
to the local Nissan dealer, and they haven't been able to
figure out what is wrong. I thought maybe someone on this
forum might have had a similar experience and would have
some ideas. The dealer is currently having a new key made,
thinking that might be the problem. Any help would be
appreciated.

In most cases when the lites come on, it is a BCM concern,
but then again it could also be an IPDM E/R concern. The
newer vehicles can be a pain in the butt to diagnose.
Sounds like you need to find another dealer.
