I have a stock 2001 Frontier with the 2.4 in it. For
a couple of months now every once in a while I start
missing a cylinder or maybe two under acceleration.
It doesn't happen all the time just about every couple
of days.

I replaced the plugs and plug wires but it is still
doing it. When it starts missing I will push in the
clutch and it revs fine but under acceleration it will
miss and about 10-15 seconds later you can feel it
pick up and run correctly. I had a code that said my
catalytic converter was bad but it went off a about a
month ago so I don't know if that has anything to do
with it. Anyone have any ideas?

Pull the distributor cap-rotor + plate off and clean out
the debris. Please use Genuine Nissan electrical parts
if needed. The cat will go bad due to the miss fire.
