I have a 2012 Frontier 2 door king cab with suicide doors. In the last few weeks, the overhead lights have started flickering on and off and the doors unlock when making right hand turns or going over large bumps such as speed bumps. There is a clicking sound that seems to be coming from the lower dash area around my left knee, and I notice the cargo light switch is there, I have no way of verifying if that light is also flickering when the internal ones do. I wonder if this may have something to do with the switch in the door that controls the lights, and if so, would that also control the locks? If not, is there another area that could be shorting that controls both items? I replaced related fuses inside the engine, but that did not resolve the problem. Any insights you might have would be helpful! Thank you!

Suicide doors are not normally a factory or dealership modification. It does sound like there is a loose electrical connection or an electrical solenoid not anchored down.
Converting to Suicide doors requires a talented person to preform.
See if you can find whoever did the work and check with them.
I wish our Camry had Suicide doors.. Don S..

This is on the king cab of the truck, it came from the factory this way. I didn't want the 4 door version of the pickup, but I like the rear access to the king cab that it offers. Maybe "suicide door" is the wrong term? I just mean rear opening doors that swing towards the back.

Many cars were built in the early days with front Suicide Doors. They were outlawed in the USA in the nineteen thirties because they could be opened while driving sixty miles per hour and killed a lot of people.
Some customizing shops modify modern cars and trucks today. Many cars in the nineteen forties had rear Suicide doors.
My King Cab has only two doors and I never thought of the third or rear door being a Suicide door.(my bad)
Still… it does sound like there is a loose electrical connection, electrical short or an electrical solenoid not anchored down.
Sight chance the rear door sensor button/switch needs adjustment.
Good luck.. Don S..

Try pushing/pulling on the doors while sitting still and
see if you can duplicate the concern. Sounds like a miss
adjusted door not putting enough pressure on a door
switch.
