Stupid Highway Patrol gave me a fix-it ticket for my tinted windows. You
can still see though the tint fine..I don't know what his problem
was...however I still have to fix it. What's the easiest way to remove the
tinting. I bought my Frontier from the dealer with the tint on it already, but
according to the CHP officer it is still after market tinting. Can I remove it
myself? Is that cost effective, or should I take it in to a shop?????

to take tint of you need a sharp razor and hot soapy water. start at one corner with the razor and get as much as you can off then what ever is left spray with the hot water and get it all off with the razor. when the tint is off you will has a film or residue left on your window. again, spray the water and scrape with a razor then get really fine steel wool, something like 000 and get the residue off. to finish get a strong window cleaner, something from a parts store and not windex, and use newspaper as paper towel.

Check your local laws, many places are 35% for the front.  check here and see what the limit is for your area, and then go to the dealer and find out what was used.  If you get the written deal from Nissan, and take it to the station they have no choice but to withdraw the ticket, or force it to court.
