I bought my '07 Frontier used and it didn't have any tie-down cleats with it.  I purchased a set of 4 tie-down cleats on ebay for $50.  Pretty good deal...

They didn't come with the stop cleats.  I'm ok with that b/c I don't have a clue what they're for.  Forgive my ignorance, but why would you need the stop cleats?

they are an anti-theft device.........in my opinion.

but also to use as a guide point or measurement to not slide the tie-downs any further than they need to be.

I use them to Keep my bed extender brakets in the truck. If they really want them they'll get them but these will slow them down just a hair.
