HI, just found this site and looking for some real world experience from those who have an 05.

Is there anything in particular to be aware of? I am about to buy the Nismo 4x4 crewcab.

the 4 door NISMO 4x4 looks kinda nice, I saw a black one here in town and for a moment thought about trading my 04 Frontier Crew Cab S/C in, then realized I dont have a car payment on this truck and really dont want one yet.

I have an 05 Nismo 4x4 Frontier but I optioned not to get the crew cab. Surprisingly it handles great off road for a stock ride, herk could probably agree there. The power is great and everything about it is great. The only thing that I can't stand about it is the gas mileage but I wouldn't have bought the truck if that was a real issue. Tha Sheep, I think you saw my truck... unless you are positive you saw a crew cab and not a king cab. I live near you and I haven't even seen another NISMO on the road in all of shreveport... did the NISMO have chrome bed rails and red pinstripes down the side? If so, it was probably me. Anywho, I would encourage anyone to buy the NISMO as long as they are okay with the payments..

So whats with the mileage issue? is it not whats posted or just not good compared to other brands/models. I'm going to a midsize from a fullsize V8 F150 ...one reason being mileage.

I like the extra power compared to the other brands but is mileage so much an issue that may make it not worth it?

With this truck, it really just depends on how you drive. If you have a lead foot your going to get about 13 mpg but if you're moderate about 15 city and 19 - 22 Hwy. If I'm going 65MPH I get 22 mpg but, who drives that slow?
