I have two buddies that have F-150 and they can't beleave i can keep up with them  and out run them in my mid size truck with a V6... !!!THIS WAS EVEN BEFORE I SUPERCHARGED MY TRUCK!!!

MY TRUCK...

Corey has an 04 EX Cab 4x4 5.4L V8 with a hypertech programer on it ...33"  hanncook tires and 17" aftermarket wheels... he set the programer to the mid level octan setting which is not the highest setting... we just put his programer on his truck and was testing his truck... before the programmer i could outrun him in the quarter and topend his truck out... at 115MPH because of his governer... but i ran him with the programmer and i took him in the 1/8mile he passed me at 70mph and took me in the quarter. Close Race tho... at the 91 octan setting on the programmer he walked away from me at the line and i just seen the tail lights... but at top end i can still hang with him around 115MPH...

matt has an 06 F-150 Single Cab 4x4 4.6L with flowmasters... and at the quarter mile from a dead stop i took him.  he did spin his tires more then me... but i spun sideways n first and barked 2nd and 3rd... and at 45 i can walk away from him up to my top speed of 115mph... photo of this truck below...

i have recently put a supercharger on my truck.... havent had a chang to rerun the 5.4 yet... I would never buy a ford or any other brand of truck... i'm looking at buying a titan at the end of this year tho... hope its as great a truck as the frontier... i will repost next week after we both come back from college and see what my truck can do now... Not surprising.  I used to take my 02 Frontier with the KA24DE, custom intake, Ravin Exhaust and go race Hondas. 

Though most people remembered my truck from the donuts.  I wish I had a video of me doing donuts around a light pole.  I had one guy swear I was hiding a NOS bottle.

yea i go home today from college... the corey should be back home too in the 5.4 lets see what happens... wish i had a video camera!!!

I have a 2000 Frontier Crew Cab and owned a 2004 Crew Cab.  I sold the 2004 recently.  My wife and daughters drive and did drive those.  I owned a 97 F 150 and now I own and drive an 05 F150. 

There is no comparison!  The Frontier is a girl's truck.  Seem pretty dependable, if you can keep the AC working.  I've not been able to on either.  Maybe it's quick; I don't race.  I'd like to hook one up to my truck.  I believe I could pull the Nissan down the road at cruising speed.

I didn't join this forum to run down Nissan.  I've owned a few.  I joined in order to learn how to get my wife's AC working.  That didn't work. 

You guys should visit the Ford Truck Enthusiast forum.  That is a nice forum.  You can get someone that know or has experienced what you are going through to respond on any issue you are trying to resolve.

But to dedicate a forum topic to compare Ford trucks and Nissian Frontiers is ridiculus.

boy, thats fair.  a full size out towing a compact.  BIG surprise.

BTW -- I don't think it'll happen with an 05+.   Those tow pretty close to as much as 4.6 F150s.
