Hello All,

The driver side power window on my 2001 Crewcab is stuck in the up position.  I noticed there was a TSB on this but the dealer fix expired Dec 2005.  I wanted to replace it myself, but my situation is I'm not sure if its the switch , motor or the window regulator.  Also, Is there a "manual" override to roll down the window ?  I opened up the door panel hoping there's some kind of "nut" i can turn to lower the track that the glass sits on.   Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

looks like i am having the same faith with this guy way back 4 years ago. my windows wont go up anymore because my drunk friend close the door of my truck so hard that i wanna him to repeat than again with his head absorbing the impact of the door being closed like that. well he is lucky because i am not planning to charge the damage to him. good thing the window glass did not broke. im not really sure which one is the culprit. i'll be posting more images and info here soon as soon as i figured out already the root caused of my problem with this window switch that i cannot afford to replace now.
