Hello, new to the forum...

I have a 2004 XE crewcab.  I was told that some models have an in-cabin microfilter.  I was hunting around here for any instructions on how one would replace such an item in order to determine how to find the thing if I have it.  Does anyone know where it's located as well as instructions on how to check/remove the thingamabob?

... and by the way, if I have a 2004, does that make it a D22?

In my 2007, it is located behind the glove box.  Just pinch the ends of the glove box toward the center and pull it forward.  If you have the filter, it will be in a flat horizontal position in there.  Mine is actually two filters that go in side by side.

Thanks for the reply, I'm thinking that our two trucks are different, so not sure if I should be bending plastic... Anyone else?

I also have an 04.  It is behind the glove box just like Boomer said!!  I have replaced mine twice already...it really does work!!!!  It sounds like they didn't change much from the 04 to the 07 for this filter and it's location!

The first time I changed it was around 25,000 miles and the second time I did it was this past spring.  I forget what the mileage was then but right now I have 56,000 miles on her.
