I just changed the front brake pads myself for the first time and when I bled the lines, I lost one of the little rubber caps that goes on the bleeder valve. Is this something I should worry about replacing or just let it be? I assume its to keep debris out and has no other purpose. And if I do need to replace it, do you know where to find it or a reasonable replacement?

It's just to keep debris from possibly entering the system. Not that important, just be sure you clean the tip before cracking the valve for bleeding, etc. If you're that concerned, stop bu a junk yard and pick one up. My guess is that a cap from just about any vehicle would fit. A brake shop could no doubt provide one too.

You can also go to a home improvement center and use a closet shelf organizer wire system end cap. These are shelves that are vinyl coated wire with end caps.
