WOW... they really started screwing you guys.  Actually, you have the KA24DE motor... same motor put in the last gen of the 240sx.  I know, cause I got an 02 with it.

I'm kind of surprised on the 102.  I was able to get 105-8 bone stock.  And didn't start to lag till about 90.  But of course, I have a bed cover.  Either drop  your tailgate, or have a bed cover installed.  It does wonders to fight against drag.

Try these first.  Upgrade your intake.  The KA motors are really strong, you just have to give them A LOT of air.  I was able to push 110 just by dropping in a K&N filter.  A intake from weapon-r or AC will probably help out a lot.

Check out my cardomain site.  There's a little example of a "ghetto" intake on there.  Basicly you remove your air box, and turn the tubing for the box-fenderwell around and attach it to your intake pipe.  You'll have to tape it... but some spray paint hides that.

Also, do a little exhaust work too.  I threw on a Ravin Muffler, and it pushed me a little past the 115 mark.  Also, lag doesn't show till around 104 now.  It's not so much the govenrer, but the lack of free flow.

If you can't seem to get beyond that... Jim Wolf Technology ECU.  Cause the governer is the ECU.  So the only way to get rid of it, is to reprogram.

People can't just look at the truck and go... it's got headers.  Neither can a cop.  Sound is a dead giveaway.  But if you go "that's just the muffler I put on"  they'll have no clue at all.

And my bad on the ECU... it was the KA24E motor I was thinking about.  Hopefully they'll come out with one for our generation.

Mine only had the Air temp sensor on the little elbow.  I just kept it hooked up, worked out perfect.
