Is this filter only benefitial at very high rpm's? I was told by a mechanic I wouldn't see any change by installing one.

They flow a lot of air along with a lot of dirt, do a search on them. Might be OK for race engines where longevity and MAFS are not a big concern. For me, I'll stick with the Genuine Nissan oil impregnated air filter.

i have a 2009 Pro4X. In Jan 2010 the dealer installed a NISMO CAI...and I had a custom built race exhaust installed...lets say mpg DID NOT improvement but my fun factor sure did, accelertion, sound are incredible but as you put more air in the computer dumps more fuel...again mpg suffered big time...especially in the winter...have fun and keep the shiny side up...

also the dana 44 rear end hurts fuel economy as well...b ut I did not buy it cause it was fuel efficient...

Cheers

The D44 hurts mpgs how does it hurt your millage you should still have 3.36 gear in it.are talking bout the size there about only an ich diffence from the c200-the d44. the C200 is a 7.6 or 7.8 dia the D44 is 8.5 ring gear
