In the part month or so, I find that this site often but not always has an incredibly SLOW download speed.  On some days, I cannot enter the site at all.  All of the other sites i visit download VERY fast on my connection.  Tried having a friend on a different connection try and he found the same.  Is this the server?  I am afraid in the long run this will seriously hurt this site.

..

Same here Pardner...

Plus the automatic log on has failed a couple of times. I do have a couple of other sites giving problems. These sites cost money and a few have been shut down. I was a moderator on one and there was no warning. The guy that ran it is a member of two other sites I'm on... and not a word!

I'm just here trying to be helpful... Some of my best friends are great ASE  Techs so if it folds it will only be hurting others.

Thanks for the help you have done for others!

Don S..

You also have to remember our owner/admin lives in Hawaii, and it's probably a good guess that's where the server is at.

I just try to hop on as much as possible and help out where I can myself.

Thanks for the reponses, guys.  I like this site and use it whenever possible.  This AM it opened right up, no problem.

Yeah that is one of the nice things about this forum.  A lot of facts and info, and little drama.

Boomer, you say that you had no problem accessing the site this morning. This afternoon I couldn't get it to load for anything. It may just be some intermittent problems with the server.
