ok i replaced my washer fluid, i drained out all the fluid from the bottom cap (which i dont think was supposed to come off) i added new fluid, and now all the fluid leaks from the cap, around the seal, and the fluid wont come out. it makes the noise, but no water or whatever comes out. i put some weatherproof sealant on the cap and it sealed it, and i added more fluid, but it still wont come out. at least it doesnt leak?

a minor problem, but one that bugs me cause i always like to have a clean windshield.

any suggestions?

did you run the pump without fluid in there.  Some pumps have a problem of burning out if used without fluid.  I'm not sure if ours has that problem though
