Well I got a little bored and emailed people at performance accessories about the 3" body lift, and this is what I got back...

Jeff the Nissan body lift should be available within the nxt 60 - 90 days.
We do not sell direct, so I will not have pricing available.

Most body lifts are between $200-300.  I would guess this one will be similar in price.

B LYF, you are correct about it not really helping suspension performance.  I did think far enough ahead to go wider an taller to help offset the effect of gravity.  My truck will see way more road than dirt and I freely admit that.  I live in pheonix, which is the lifted truck capitol of the world and most of them are insane.

BECH LYF, what do you think ok the kit that Spencer Low Racing is coming out with? is that more of a suspension performance kit? Does anyone know how a lift whether it is a custom fab job or a kit effects the warranty?

Yes the SLR kit is a little of both, it's a suspension drop down kit but it incorporates a king coilover shock and pnumatic bump stops. So when the truck get's a little air or the suspension becomes unweighted it hangs down (full droop) then on impact or (up travel) it has the coilover to primarily dampen the shock (the coil becomes firmer the more compressed) then the pnumatic bump stop help's finish the job through the last few inches of compressed (up wheel travel) til the suspension bottoms out. Valved correctly and with the right spring rate will take what would have been a harsh impact and make it SOFFFTTT.  Thus the more wheel travel you can get (with the right components) will give the suspension more time(distance) to absorb the impact. There are many types of offroad set ups desert, short corse, mud bog, rock crawl, monster truck that involve more than raising the vehicile. Warranty: ask YOUR dealer, there all different.        &n bsp;         &n bsp;  http://www.spencerlowracing.com/products/SLR_2005_V6_4x4_Fro ntier_5/

that frontier is by far the best looking 05+.

i love the tire and wheel choice. i have been deciding between the mud grapplers, xterrains, and open country MTs.

i was also considering the procomp 6089 wheels, but i am getting feedback that 0mm offsets dont clear the calipers.

a couple of questions for you regarding your setup:

1. how has that wide of a tire effected your ability to turn?

2. are those tires noticably loud on the street?

3. what has the gas mileage gone down to since you put those tires on?

4. i dont know if that wide of a tire is the right choice for me. if i went with 33x12.50 mud grapplers, do you think i would still have to do some trimming if i went with the same body lift and spacer lift?

Atom, thanks for the compliment.

The truck turns fine, after the trimming.

The tires are loud but not nearly as bad as they look, a normal conversation can be carried on at 80mph.  I am actually pretty impressed with them.

The gas mileage has dropped about 1.0-1.5 in town and about the same on the highway.

It all depends on the backspacing and rim width.  With the right offset and a 12.5 tire it would be close, but if you removed the mud flap I think you would be ok.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

i already plan on removing the mud flaps as Im not a big fan of them anyway.

How well do those Eagle rims fit on your truck? Any caliper clearance issues? Here are the rims I wanted to install:

specs right from pro-comps website:

"This wheel combines head turning style, light weight, chrome finish and high offset brake clearance for today's performance trucks and sport utility vehicles. Together Aerospace alloys and State-Of-The-Art "Low-Pressure-Casting" technology provide unsurpassed wheel strength, beauty and value. "

PART NUNBER SIZES BOLT CIRCLE OFFSET BACK SPACING LOAD LBS. WEIGHT LBS.

7089-6868 16x8 6x4.5 0mm 4.5" 2200 27

Also, how much trimming did you actually have to do? Was it a big project? If it was minimal, the truck turns fine, and you only loose that much gas mileage, then I might go with the wider tires as well.

Indy Fronty,

Welcome aboard!  Good to see someone else rom Indy on this board!  What are you looking to get?  I have an 05 Red NISMO 4X4 KC and love it!  Who are you looking to buy from?  I got mine from Hubler in Greenwood.  Anyway, welcome aboard!  I don't have a lift, so can't help you there, but have plenty of other mods, so if I can help answer any questions, let me know!
