I sent off an e-mail to my local delaership asking for claification on this and I am still waiting for reply. I asked them is there an alternative exterior cooler or why just not replace the radiator with an improved model and that would save them a bigger headache and cost?

What I read from the letter, if the rad goes and takes the tranny with it they (Nissan) will cover replacement and all the cost of repairs.

The trans in my 2007 frontier 4x4, auto, everytime I`m driiving beetwen 35 to 42 mph, it will start to " rumble" or "shaking" or like driving on a rough road, but if I take the OD off, it will fix it for that moment.

Same sensation of driving a standard stiff shift, when you try to lower the gears, and by mistake you shifted above the one you wanted.

I took my truck to a dealer 2 times, they cant find a problem.

please does anybody have and idea?

they say everything seems to be right

my email: yayo54@verizon.net

That rumble is one of the symptoms of the radiator leak I am told.  It could also have some problems with the torque converter lockup.

Yeah Yayo54, I had that shudder which I'm sure was the torque converter trying to lockup.  I took it to a dealer and asked them to check to see if my transmission fluid had been contaminated by coolant.  Seven hours later I had a new radiator and a thrice flushed transmission.
Good luck.

yayo54, that is the exact symptoms of coolant in the trans
fluid. Check your fluid in the trans and the coolant
overflow for pink milky crap. Sounds like your dealer has
idiots working for them!
stokersrule, why did they not replace your trans??? How
long has it been since the rad was replaced. I would be
very leery of the longevity of the trans.

They checked the fluids and they said everything "perfect", maybe
because I have the extended waranty they dont seem like spending
on new trans.
is there is lemon law for used car? I got this truck 7 months ago

I just got my truck used a few months ago, so I didn't actually receive a letter re: the radiator.  I'm pretty sure they only replace the tranny if it fails and to be honest since I haven't owned it very long so it feels ok to me.  Having said that, I don't have much to compare it to.
